This is the story of an incredible woman, her journey with the Thing and how she taught us to embrace the storm- even when things feel stark. It is aimed at children with a parent or close human with cancer, but actually is for anyone that loves someone really, really poorly - whether that is cancer or not - and whether they are likely to die, or not. When it comes to Difficult Issues, this is a tricky one. This book tells the story of one frankly brilliant but also very normal woman, in gently rhyming prose, with watercolour illustrations.
